DougH's Workshop DougH's Workshop DougH's Workshop

Gaffney, SC
United States

This is my shop. It is just a small 16×22 foot space that I have crammed a lot of stuff in. I recently started to 5s so this is only half that I will show it this time. The miter saw station is still under construction. Most of this was done with scraps I had laying around. In my real job I am subjected to a lot of lean principals so I tried to incorporate some of that into my shop. Did I just say that????

Doug, this looks like a nice neat shop to me. Using the pegboard to organize your hand tools is a pretty good idea ( I am slightly biased since I did the same thing with the front wall of my shop). From the looks of your shop it appears as if you have made pretty effective use of your space.

Thanks for the tour. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

5S – You must work at BMW. Nice shop. I’m down the road in Simpsonville. My little shop area is pretty 5s’d as well.
