For years I wanted to get into woodworking. When I finally had the chance to set up a nice woodshop I turned to one of my other great interests: cribbage. I've played the game for over 30 years and collected a great variety of cribbage boards. I noted the lack of high-quality artisan boards and decided to make them myself. After four years now I've made and sold over 125 boards. I strive to provide the best quality workmanship, exotic wood combinations and new innovative board designs. My partner Betsy has joined me in this endevour as well.
In the past I did a little playing around with woodturning, making a variety of bowls. However I get commissioned board requests so frequently I never have time to turn anymore. Maybe when I retire someday...
By day I work as the Director of Computer Systems for a printing company north of Chicago. But when I get home I spend the majority of my time working on boards.
