I recently got very lucky; I’m really excited about this and thought I’d share the story. To provide a little background, I used to have a nice garage workshop in our house in San Diego. The centerpiece/anchor of the shop was a Grizzly 1023S cabinet saw. Part 2: Xmas in July

For several years, now, I’ve been hauling this stuff with me every time we moved. It spent the past 3 years in a storage locker – I just couldn’t bring myself to part with it (and now, boy am I glad!) Part 3: Fantastic Freebies

Today I found (on craigslist) a free Craftsman Radial Arm saw. It’s the electronic kind with a digital readout for height/bevel/angle (not sure if I’ll trust it) and it was in very good shape. It needs a new table and fence (don’t they all?!) and some lubrication but the blade is nice and sharp and it’s not rusty or thrashed.
