I work for a millworks company out of Los Angeles called Tried and True. We fabricate/construct doors, windows, staircases, railings, furniture and trimwork using traditional methodology and a mix of traditional hand tools and modern machines. I have studied fine furniture making at Cerritos College's Woodworking Department and still do take courses there as I am able. I am from Muskegon, MI and grew up living right on the sand dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. I grew up building forts in the woods and have loved trees, wood, grain, etc my whole life. My interest in learning how to build furniture centers around building long lasting, beautiful artistic-looking objects that families will keep for generations.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
