Not many people have a day named after their woodworking passion. I guess I should be thankful.
I propose that we name a few more days after other woodworking specialties. We could have Furniture Day, Carving Day, Turning Day, Marquetry Day, Rocker Day, and more.
Any other suggestions?

I propose adding 4 “Turning Days” to the calendar – appropriately on the solstices and equinoxes… Turn into a new season!
Carving Day could double up with Thanksgiving… although we should be carving in the morning, not after the tryptophan induced haze… lest we then regrettably celebrate “Stitches Day… or delayed wound closeure day. :(
