Still Here

G’day woodworking Mates!

I note on my calendar that 365 days ago I joined LumberJocks. This post makes 2501 entries very few of which have occurred in the past two months. I’m still visiting, and reading with interest about all the great projects. Since I’ve become inactive here, there have been many new members and some great small wooden boxes. I case you thought that my love for small wooden boxes has diminished, let me say again … I just love them!

I have a few projects that will be completed early next year, so will not be active here until I earn the right to do so by showing that I still do some woodworking.

Have a great Christmas everyone – and whilst you are enjoying this special season remember the greatest Christmas gift of all was God’s son, Jesus.

I was wondering where you were—I thought maybe it was problems with your knee.

Have a glorious holiday and new year and I look forward to being inspired by your boxes once again.
(I miss your comments on the small wooden boxes!)

Merry Christmas Don.

You are always welcome here. Comments are not required to brouse. But we do like you to leave footprints in the sand. The breadcrumbs are all being eaten up by the electronic mice. You need to leave some thing more tangible than “I’ve been browsing”.

We need your participation.

Merry Christmas, Box Elder. You are always welcome here, and could retire on your laurels and still comment on every new box if that was your desire. Your influence, encouragement and guidance has been huge. Best wishes throughout the Christmas season and the year to come, to you and all of your family.

Hi Don…..........been thinking about you. Got my 2×4 and going to make some kind of CanuckDon inspired box. I’ve got your shooting board link, Mots plans, Wayne’s bench hook, new mitre guage, and hopefully a new handsaw that Santa is aware of…...(I got caught rattling the boxes but the packaging peanuts are confusing me)......no sure signs under the tree yet.

Thanks for reminding me this past year about the “craft”.

Merry Christmas Don!!!

Glad to see you again Don but don’t get it wrong, you earned your right to be here the moment you joined—as everyone else here—and who cares if you don’t do any boxes as long as you participate… well, actually yes, we DO care because you know… WE love YOUR small boxes!

Take care mate,

Jojo, also lurking more and posting less, too hectic of an schedule nowadays.

Merry Christmas Don. Gets a bit hot for the shed some days. You can always sit down & watch the Cricket on Boxing Day, after all it is in Melbourne. Not a bad way to fill in the time Regards Tony.

I somehow missed all this 11 days ago, but have been wondering what had happened to you Don. It’s good to know you’re still lurking around. Your mention of milestones triggered me to notice my 100 days today – still a young ‘un!
