Got to shout out to a small business. I just swung by this place which is around the corner from Rockler here. The guy had a good selection of project wood and lumber planed to 15/16 and straight lined. Also sells some good size cut offs and project woods by weight. Great service and I am hoping he stays open long enough for me to come up with a cut list for my next project. He had lots of oak, maple, poplar, cherry, walnut and birch on hand. I did not see any exotics but have little doubt he could have hooked me up. www.Discountlumberoutlet.com

for project and cut offs the prices were great (great wood 1-2 foot pieces, a little elbow grease needed). the 15/16 straight line stuff was still very good and clean and about half the price of some lumber places I have been. his s4s stuff is very competitive with even some of the best deals from the hard wood guy locally (without all of the planing and straight line ripping my local guy requires). Also tons of moldings etc. Best bet is to check it out

Thanks for the heads up! I’ve seen his ad on Craigslist for a few months and never bothered to check it out. I think I know what I’m doing with the kids tomorrow morning :)

Cool barefeet. I ended up buying some maple for a sung and will end up helping my daughter build a jewelry box for 4H
