Many thanks to everyone for their welcome to “LumberJocks. Glad to have found this site!!

First question for me.

Has anyone any experience using boiled linseed oil for a preservative? I’ve sawed up a bunch of true dimension 4 X 4’s, air dried, and want to use them to build an arbor over my deck.

I like the look that boiled linseed oil gives.
