Bath Stool #5: Angled Tenon and Mortise

04-12-2018 02:52 PM by Diego Cassels | 5 comments »

Thanks to a coment from sras who said For the angled joint, I’d suggest cutting the tenon at an angle and have the mortise be strgaight in. I’ve made a drawing of the angled Tenon with my measurements, in centimeters. This gives me the easy task of making the mortise of 2 cm deep by 2cm wide by 20 cm long in the seat, all straight angles. Then in both of the legs I will have to make a angled keyed mortise and tenon joint to insert the legs support as shown in the sketch. Photo taken from wordpress.com
