That is AWESOME! I saw the Studley bench at the Handworks event in Amana Iowa last year. They also had a replica bench. You could play with the vises on the replica and they were great. What a find! Did you get a good deal?

I think I got a great deal on it even with paying a couple of guys to move it from the old barn down to my shop. Funny thing is it was in a barn not more than a half mile from my house! Didn’t even know the property was there, it’s hidden behind a newer neighborhood. Tool hunting in Massachusetts is still good!

I took the post down because someone contacted personally about buying the vise. They wouldn’t take no for an answer. I took the post down and will repost pictures of the vise and bench once it is safely in my shop. Strange people out there! Sorry guys (and gals)!
