no previous part Part 1 of Trolls care to share you experiences on series no next part

It is not because of this sick S.O.B. (silly old boy ) BUt the blame lies in this “arena” of NO moderators. The filth that “vonhagen” posted upon me. In case you havn’t noticed many of the Big names have left (including me, or soon to) the only recent one to get active here is Clippinger. The biggest loss is Andrew Pitts Furniture Maker and he’s gone. Therefore, old woodworker’s go away not to fade away but advance woodworking with the CNC! and another forum.
and some will remember that I am from Detroit, but my last post is to “vonhagen” I seek no malice and I will continue to pray for you and Marvel (vonhagen2).

I do not report many posts but one I did had the name “vonhagen”

the two type of people I do not like here are

1. people that use their post just to make money advertising their business with no real value in what they share
2. people that do things really bad and act like everyone should learn from them

really most posts are wonderful here but Vonhegan post well in the useless attack category and that ticked me off

I for one would love a cnc router but do not have 1. the space and 2. the money but one day I will figure out how to have a cnc router and cnc plasma cutter in the same space because I really could use both and they seem like they would make great friends together

I’d have to agree the “arena” can tend to allow peoples’ emotions get out of control. This can be further exacerbated by those suffering from cabin fever with too much time on their hands. Sure moderators would help, but the underlying problem is some individuals’ anonymity has left them thinking there won’t be any recourse to their actions. If someone well know had their customer base find out they conduct themselves in a very childish way when they think no one is looking, it could be very damaging and they wouldn’t do it. Online interaction is so far different than in person interaction and the way we introduce ourselves and more importantly how dialogue is interpreted. . . . . . it leaves much to be desired. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt as it must be understood, not everyone here is has the same level of skill, that goes from woodworking to typing and communicating as well. I’ve heard it more than once, but the saying “be nice or leave” could help many if it was simply followed.

Have your say...
