Hello everyone. Welcome.
I have been woodworking since 1998. I started shortly after I was married because I wanted to be more of a do-it-yourselfer around the house. That turned into a real hobby. I began making all kinds of things. Especially around Christmas time. Unfortunately, I have given most of my
projects away as presents and didn't take pictures of them beforehand.
I guess that means I need to make more projects. :)
By day I design Plastic Injection Molds for a local shop. I sit all day long at a computer using CAD software.
By night I am a husband, father of 2 boys, deacon, assistant den leader for my sons cub scouts, student, and woodworker. Where I find time to actually do any woodworking I am not really sure.
I really enjoy passing on what I have learned (woodworking and otherwise) to those with less experience, especially kids.
I love having my own kids in my shop and teaching them how to properly use my tools, and of course to put them away when they are done.
I just recently came across LumberJocks. It seems like a unique place to be. I think I am going to be spending a lot of time here.
