In the new Holiday Edition of Woodcarving Illustrated 2010 I have had the honor to have my “Stylish Box, #1” in this edition… it is an eight page article on how I assembled the box, carved the roses and it also includes templates. I hope you enjoy reading it

I’ll be looking forward to being able to hold that issue in my hands, when I receive it.

It’s a very well done tutorial.

I also love the Rose pattern, because I love to carve Roses.

You deserve the recognition, because of your superb talent.

I would recommend Pfeil carving gouges, you can get them from woodcraft.

Dennis awesome job, congrat on the recognition, the article i very easy to follow. The box is beautiful, one day i might atempt to carve a rose on a box for a friend of mine his last name is rose and he collects things with roses on it. Superb work.

Another well deserved Congratulations Dennis…....... this is fantastic and as all have said, well deserved.
This has been one of my favorite boxes for a long time, I will get this magazine for sure ….. and can’t wait till fall of 2011 for your new book….. keep us updated on that so we can order special “signed” copies…. hint…hint…. LOL
