Hi Everyone, This year sure is flying by.

Here are some step pictures of a “Center Headboard Fan Carving,” and a little peek at the carved back panels, out of solid cherry. I’ve been working on this bed for two months. I’ve been having a blast working on this bed. With all the carving and bending.

The economy has been really slow, we have been very lucky to still be busy. “Knock on wood” We have had to be leaner and more productive this year. Also, We have been working twice as hard to get work in the door. I hope things are going good for the rest of you. Lumberjocks is always a very positive place for us woodworkers.

Well, back to work, and thanks for looking.

I hope your customer isn’t going to buy it and ship it overseas where they will copy it and make it out of plastic or foam and make millions of them. However I wouldn’t blame them if they did, this is that beautiful! Anyone would be proud to own a bed like that!

Dennis,

You make it look easy, but we know you’ve honed your skills with practice. This will be one incredible bedroom suite when it is finished. The headboard looks like it would take five men to move it! You are among a handful of people who have ever achieved such excellence.

Thanks for sharing.

What a talent. A beautiful carving.

I can’t wait to see the completed bed.

Another beautifully crafted piece in progress and a really well documented tutorial. You always make the incredible look easy. Thanks for taking the time and effort to share your work and techniques.
