This is my mobile shop that I use for onsite builds and installs. With this set up I can install most anything. I can also build book cases, mantels, built-ins, closet packages, stair packages…... The list goes on and on. It also keeps me organized and efficient. I have been using it for about a year now and my only complaint is I did not do it sooner.

This was not my original idea. I was inspired by Ron Paulks design (Google him)on his truck. I did build this in sketch-up first and then fabricated. It took about 62 hours to build it, and about 600.00 in AC plywood. I built it in a 8’Wx7’Tx16’L cargo trailer. I bought it used on craigslist for 3500.00.

This is completely mobile and does not take the place of my shop, but it does allow me to do quite a bit more in the field.

Great utilization of Ron’s ideas. I like your extension, the dovetail attachment is a nice touch.
I used Ron’s drawer construction idea also for my work trailer. I put in 32 drawers to eliminate misc. tool boxes. So far has worked out well.
Thanks for showing us your “home away from home”.

Nice setup.
Question: What is the weight of the trailer complete with your interior and all tools you haul?

Wow, I’m absolutely gobsmacked.
