Hi all, hope the woodworking life is going good. I wanted to share with you a picture video I made of a Local Furniture restoration shop in Portland, OR… 5 mins from my shop. Anyways I had been going to this shop since I was in 5th grade. The owner ran an antique shop in front… This master of the trade had been doing furniture restoration for 36 years. This January he decided to close shop at this location and move to his shop he built at his house. In a split second, (LOL) I decided to take some pictures of the shop for memory… Glade I did. That genuine look of an old workshop! Nice.
I might walk on a mine field now, but some hobby workshops are more of a showroom for fancy tools than a workshop where sawdust is produced.

Could not agree more. It is what it is. I’m the type thats likes a nice clean organized shiny tooled shop… .. On;y problem I spend a lot of time in cleaning.
