Hi all hope life as a woodworker is going well. Sorry I have not posted here for some time. The woodworking buizzz has got me by the tail. Anyways heres a video I made of a Re-finish job I was hired to do. I go over steps I did to pull this task of. The piece is about 70 years old. Once again F.W.I pulled it off.
Enjoy.

Ikea buys a lot of patterns from a company (I forget the name) That goes and buys the old patterns and tooling of old furniture makers and then goes and sell the patterns to Brazil or china…. This is an Original piece made in New York USA…

Hey Michael – nice job – what sanding sealer did you use? I looked waterbased, because of the milky color when applied, and seemed to be much thicker when you poured it on, than a shellac type/bullseye sealcoat.

I used a water base. To me it mixes good with oil/poly based finish…

Even in this economy… F.W.I is booming…. I’m doing it all, from custom built furniture to furniture restoration… Hope this summer I will get a fence or deck job. Would like to work out doors… I’m mostly stuck in the shop for about 8 months…. Need to get that tan going… LOL…..
