Hey all, Hope life is good. I just thought I might share with you DELTA’s New web cite.
As most of the Delta Machinery Fans on this cite know that Delta Machinery was sold (once again) to a Taiwan company. Heres is there new web cite. As it killed most Delta Fans knowing that an american name was sold to a forging company, in high sight there not owned any more by B&D!!!. Anyways heres the link to there knew web cite.
There are no new machines let on the web cite that we a have not already seen on the market, except the New Dust collector..(50-786) http://www.deltamachinery.com/products/dust-management/item/50-786?category_id=3, But there are new products on the way…..
This is a new start for the Delta name….

I don’t really recall what the old website looked like, so I can’t really offer a comparison. All I know is that I’ve physically seen 4-5 different Delta machines that have been recently manufactured. All were either under-featured to justify their high MSRP or poorly designed and built.
I’m betting the Taiwanese firm that bought Delta will make some immediate improvements. Or they’ll drive it further into the ground to eliminate competition.

I know that the Tiawanese firm is the same firm that makes the Dewalt miter saws. I don’t know if Dewalt has gone up or down. I don’t buy Dewalt tools so I don’t if this will be good or bad for Delta machinery.

Here’s hoping that there will be improvements made now that Delta is out from under B&D. I’m not really counting on it, though.

(WinterSun) I never had any problems with my Delta tools, when they were owned buy B&D. All my tools are Delta, but they all are the stationary models, it could be that the bench units weren’t as good. I will still be sticking with Delta.
