In this first pic you can see how I added a knee board to my table saw. This allows me to shut it down without reaching below the table or even letting go of the workpiece.

The second is my home built router table. It’s some 32” wide before the oak trim was added. The JessEm lift I snagged for $120, the Rockler fence, for $15, and the big 3hp router was salvaged from a shut down production facility and is on permanent loan.

Dean, that is a nice improvement on your saw. This makes it much safer to handle. On my old Craftsman saw the switch was on the right side of the saw. To shut it off after feeding stock through the blade I had to switch hands and hunt with my right hand to find the tiny shut off switch. Needless to say I don’t miss this at all.

How about posting some more pictures of your shop. There are a number of us who enjoy visual tours of other shops.

Perhaps I will. It’s little more than an walkway in the garage.
