I have apparently been on here lurking as a member for over 500 days and as a non member for who knows how long. Whoops! I’d like to be a part of this community more, sharing ideas and showing people what I’ve learned as well as continuing to get a bunch of help that has come from the lurking. Some times I get up into a tight spot and need some woodworking friends’ advice.

I’ve been woodworking for the last couple of years trying to develop my own style and figure out how things go together. I’ve been trying to get my work to look as though its been hand drawn with crayons. I like its playful look and the fact that it’s a bit hard to take seriously even when done well.

I write a little about my woodworking on our familie’s Blog

Thanks everyone for making such a terrific woodworking site possible and I really do look forward to joining in.
Jay

Wow Jay! What can I say?
I’m a lot newer here than you, and hope some day to emulate something like where you live, except on the far left coast above California and below Alaska!

Yo have some great wood working skills I hope we can see some more!

It’s never too late to say, “Welcome to Lumberjocks.”
