The $9 Website #2: Start at the beginning
In the age of blogging, it seems that there are an overwhelming amount of ways to obtain an online presence. The free options are plentiful, though they will inevitably leave you with a less than desirable website address (e.g. endings with .blogspot, .wordpress). This led me to investigate buying (or technically renting for a choice of years) a domain name for what I was surprised to discover was a relatively modest sum of $8.99 a year for a .com (though I’m sad to say it’s now up to $11.99; lying on the first post, not off to a good start…).
