I am currently in the middle of building my shop. I have been working out of my garage for 5 years. The foundation was poured in 2010, but due to unexpected financial challenges and family illness, it was delayed.
I will be framing the walls and setting the trusses on April 13th FINALLY!!!!
Pictures to follow as construction progresses.
April 15 – Progress from Saturday April 13. Walls were raised and trusses were placed. Sqft is 440
Floor to ceiling height is 11’1” – I ordered attic trusses. I have just over 5’ in the highest point in the attic, so I might make a little drafting desk up there as well as storage
Update – April 24th. Windows are in. Shingles have been purchased, commercial roll up door has been ordered, as well as cement board siding. Anticipating having the roofing completed this weekend. and finishing the framework and dry-in by early May.
Progress Report, Shingles are done, windows/mandoor and installing the roll-up door tonight after work.
5-6-13, see new pic
