Ha… another dovetail jig….
sorry. I do my dovetails by hand – even in Sketchup….. sure, I’ve had to replace 2 monitors already -but you just can’t match that handcut elegancy.
Nice plugin though – I don’t have any plugins on my SU – but this one might be the first I’ll add. def. a time saver.
Thanks for the post!

Sharon, I think you’re problem is using the wrong saw for cutting those dovetails. :-D

David,
Thanks, once again, for bringing me into the present.
I tend to fall behind, mostly because something else has my attention.
I must get back to SketchUp!

Well done Dave. At least now it won’t take longer to do the dovetails in Sketchup than the real thing!

Sharon, where have you been, my friend? Surely you know that hand cut dovetails must be cut with one of these. What do they teach in schools these days? <grin>
Don and Mike, thank you
Don, we still have screw threads to talk about if that’s still of interest.

Thanks for the post Dave, I’m gonna try this one for sure. I’ve just started with Sketchup this last week and I’m having a lot of fun.

This is great! It’s going to help me a lot just looking at the instructions (over and over and over….)

Interesting, thanks for posting this Dave. I am just in th process of designing (and I use that term loosely considering my skill level :-) our bathroom renovation and I want to use dovetails for the drawers. Great timing; now I just have to figure out how to use plugins.
