Thanks Dave for the posting. I will be looking forward to seeing a post on components vs group. I still do not have a clear understanding of the differences between the two. This series has been a nice tutorial that has improved my understanding of Sketchup. I am slowly muddling my way through it and beginning to get a better handle on it.

I gotta say – I truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into sharing your knowledge of Sketchup with us. I would love to attend one of your classes but distance makes that a challenge – having this information online makes the miles go away.

You make it look effortless but I know that, as with anything, it does take time and I sincerely thank you for sharing yours with us.

Scott and Dan, thank you for letting me know this is useful. With practice it is almost effortless.

Scott, you’ve determined my next blog entry. Thank you.

“With practice it is almost effortless” Wow you give me a lot of encouragement and inspiration with that statement because right now there is a lot of effort going into using Sketchup. But, with tutorials such as you putting forth, I can “see a light at the end of the tunnel” but it is in the far distance. :) I really appreciate the effort that you are putting into this.

Dave, you probably have no idea how many of us follow along anonymously. You’ve taught me an awful lot about SU. Thank you!

Dave,
I’ve taken a couple of other tutorials on utube but the way you present in light of a woodworking project really makes sense and has encouraged me to keep going. Thanks so much.
