67 posts in 339 days Location: Pittsburgh, PA I enjoy all kinds of joinery. Everything from boxes to furniture to puzzles. I am fascinated with the way things go together. I am a self-taught woodworker who has only really learned from reading books and through experience. I never took a formal woodworking class except for shop class in Junior High. (I made an ice scraper.) I believe if you set out to do something, you'd better do it right. There's no substitute for quality either. I want my works to last a couple of lifetimes.

Milo: Thanks for the welcome! I’m already excited about this website/forum. The FFMedic in my screen name is for Firefighter Paramedic. I’m honestly afraid of fixing any furniture that I didn’t make. But then, I’ve never had to repair any of my furniture pieces.
