[Below] The brackets are held on by glue alone. This is still working fine for the shelf I made for my daughter last year. Here you can see my fancy tape clamps holding things together.

[Below] A few coats of spray lacquer and I call the shelf done.

The installed shelf can be seen on the [project page].

Looks like it was a nice, easy project to help out a family member.

Yeah, I like the duct tape clamps! I’ve used cinder blocks, rubber bands, painters tape, wedges, and springs as clamps. Whatever it takes to get the job done!
