I've been in the computer business for over 25 years, as programmer, manager and running my own business. Now, I'm trying to be a woodworker, learning how to use my tools, and wanting to find a niche where I can fit in.

Hey double D, where have you been hiding? I’m assuming that you are a LJL (LumberJock Lurker). And that’s OK. Have you discovered where your niche lies?

My advice is to start making things, even Christmas Trees. The only way to learn is to do. I believe that you will find a lot of support here, both from us recreational woodworkers and the professionals. Good luck!

Welcome DataDoc. I was in the computer business since 1965. And I finally called it quits. except for what I do on the side. Welcome to LumberJocks Make sawdust.
