I’m not going to get into much detail now considering I’ve still got to set everything up. Been waiting for warmer weather to start messing around with all that.
The workshop is a bastardized 2 car garage which the home has egressed into. That pretty well chops up the space and gives somewhere around a 1.5 car garage of space to work in.
The doors, are awful to say the least. They’re old roll up doors which have been braced together and cut in half. They also swing in.
I’ve got plans to do a set of carriage house doors for it which swing out, allowing for way more floor space usage. Not to mention actually being able to park a car inside if any future owner chooses to do so. I mean come on. How do you park a car in a garage where the doors open in. Or at least, how do you shut the doors.
At any rate I’ll skip the ramble and show the mess. Don’t ask me to get into what tools are in it yet.. ;)

Thanks for the pictures. It looks like you have some work ahead to do on your shop. I cannot fathom why anyone would have garage doors that swing into the space. You are right about it not being very useful for a garage. Who knows maybe when it was built it was intended to be a shop all along.
Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing some of your work.

that is weird – the doors I mean… there must have been a reason – or a mistake :)
