    Yup, I've got to agree with Doug.. If you do "hack" jobs, then all I'm doing is making firewood.

    Daren,
    If you're a "hack woodworker" I'm ready to crawl under a rock.

    This is a great article! I look forward to the rest of it. I always thought of finding stones that could be used as sharpening. When they used the term natural I assumed the stones were already naturally flat… I just learned something new today!!!
    Thanks a lot

    Hello Daren;
    --and welcome!

    I'm sorry I've not had much time to comment and ask questions of your working those logs, as I've been busy. I have been to your website and was impressed by what you are doing with wood and look forward to more of your treasured finds, and then….

    Thank you.

    Dan, I don't have a price list because of 2 reasons. One most of the lumber I don't use (or just stash) myself and am selling is spoken for by my "regular customers". I have a waiting list at times ? My inventory changes too fast to keep my site updated, I don't really stock your run of the mill lumber, so a standard price list is irrelevant anyway. I like it wide and figured, straight grain is not my thing. I do web business, but it is people contacting me looking for something in particular, some times I have it…other times not. The lumber sales are for the most part local or past contacts in certain crafts like guitar making and such. I am not here to sell anything, just be one of the guys.
