Nice shop Dan.
Looks like a great place to get away from it all.

Looks like a nice space to work in. And you have addressed the storage issues most of us have.

Well done and welcome to LJ's

Looks good, Dan. I am also in the process of setting up shop in my one-car garage in Austin, so it is nice to see someone else's ideas for how to juggle the compromises. How do you like that Porter Cable drill press? I am very tempted to pick one up next time I come across one of Lowe's 10%-off coupons. Thanks for sharing.

I like the Drill press but might have gone with a table top to save room. Funny thing is my pond sprung a leak and now my shop will be taken over by a quarantine tank 4×8x4 deep…....some wood work in that but it will consume the space for about a year…I just got it cleaned up!!!!

It's actually been fun making the QT tank that will take up the bay. I actually went 4×10x4. I have improved my framing skills but still have a long way to go on fine woodworking… I am looking forward to making smaller items once I finish with the QT tank. Thanks for the compliments.

ERQ- Where in Austin?

NW, Steiner Ranch. I will have to post the pic with my QT tank…...man it takes up some room.
