I say toss ‘em all…in a shipper to me.

#1 looks like there might be a forest fire. #2 looks like maybe some mist/fog with the sun behind it. #3 looks like a rippling stream flowing through some mist.

In terms of temperature, they go 1, 2, 3, hot to cold. Depends on what you are looking for.

I personally have happy memories of something like #3. Send it to me for rendering my critical art judgment eye! :P

Depending on the dye you use on the wood, every one of these is a certain sale.

I like 1 or 3 as they have a little more contrast. Overall I like 1.

#1 for me. The back ground looks like it blends in to much in #2 and #3.

Frame them in some wood and resubmit. I see a lot of Broccoli at first!!! They are nice. #1 looks like a scene at late day, #2 is a nice clear day, and #3 is a cloudy, gloomy day. All very nice. Which I like best would depend on my mood at the time. Right now, #2.

my first thought was one…then in the side by side 3…then going back two popped up for me…for different reasons all have value…

still instant thought is one has more contrast and i think that catches my eye more…

good stuff…

I like #1 and #3 the most, with #1 more favorable. The interior (background) color offers more of an atmospheric effect as the forest opening into a glen or meadow (with more light), offering a hint of something unexpected.

#3 has its own atmospheric effect but hints more at a clearing lying deeper into the forest, yet remaining canopied by the giant trees.

The stronger contrasts of tonality in #1 and #3 also tend to make these more interesting, to me.

Dan, I would have to vote for #1.

Tough one, Dan…
I was all about #1… but #3 is Great, and #2 is excellent too…
There’s a subtle mood shift in them, with the different hues…
All things being equal, I think I’d pick #1… or #3… or #2…???
Fine Work, as always, my Friend!!

#1, 3, 2 in that order. Its not so much contrast but depth that makes #1 special
