That Seedlac label is a hoot, we don’t want any “bug parts” in the shellac! Looking good Dan.

seedlac must be filtered. unusable otherwise. The center jar is unscreened and the little jar has been filtered twice in cheese cloth.

buttonlac is the next step up from seedlac

i like to use paddy wack lac. it gives the wood a whimsical look ;>)

but seriously, thanks for sharing your experience with shellac. I use it in all my projects.
