Along with a passion for making my own tiles, I also have built up a collection of eBay studio tile finds myself.
I’ve had this tile, waiting for a frame idea , many years. It has a southwestern feel. The trees are simple, but well done.

Maybe something in mesquite with a Thomas Molesworth influence?

Hmm, the rough edges make me think that the frame should be set away from the tile so you can see the sides. Not sure how to do that – maybe just capture the tile at two points on each side? Someting like 2 dowels reaching across a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap. Seems like the frame should be dark …

Consider a standup frame for desk or table-top presentation.
This can be done in a traditional Arts and Crafts style.
Since the back of the tile is signed, set the tile in a groove (dado) or use a rabbet and frame turn points (brass would look cool).
