Looked here and saw that it’s been 196 days since my last blog entry on LumberJocks, so I feel like I’ve got to say something.
I’ve been super busy the last two months, doing carpentry, building a workshop with a living roof in my back yard. The complete series on my personal site, or at HomeRefurbers.

Don’t know. Hoping to get the floor down and the wallboard up tomorrow and Monday. Digging the electrical trench is a big question mark, but I figure I can probably get the final inspection before I lug all the dirt up. Hoping soon, because I’m also going to have to actually go back to working soon…

The roof is now at the “okay if it rains” stage. Yeah, I have been extremely lucky weather-wise. Spent yesterday with a 13 year old helper in the shop, which made a few things easier, although other parts were harder. Kinda relaxed when he got bored with running drywall screws and routing out my lumber rack holes with the RotoZip and decided that he wanted to explore how wallboard scraps break, but it’s all good.
