My workshop is a detached 2 car garage that is about 1000 sq ft and it has a toliet, fridge, deep freezer, double stainless steel sink, heat and ac. The color and rock of my workshop match my house. I wanted it to look exactly the same. I built a custom workbench, shelves, and 2 cabinet systems. Most of my shop tools are on wheels so I can move them around the easily and they are also lower then normal so I can use them from my wheelchair. Everything has a specific place and spot where it belongs. When people come to my shop thay can’t believe how oragnized and clean it is. I hate a mess and I hate it looking a mess. I love to spend all day in my workshop Other than my wife and kids it is the next important thing in my life. Thank you for looking and tell me what you think.

Nice shop. How do you get any woodworking done, with that kayak competing for your attention?

Dan, this is a really well organized shop. I like the osb wall treatment. It makes hanging tools and cabinets a breeze. The pegboard is a good idea as well. Your hand tools are readily available and in plain sight. You have built a nice table saw center tool. I would enjoy working in your shop.
Thanks for the pictures. I really enjoyed touring your shop.

Hi Dan
Great looking shop! You are my kind of guy, everything has a place and everything in its place. I do not know how people can work in a cluttered shop. I just got my new shop done and in the process of equiping it. Wish I had as nice a shop as yours but one has to work with what they have. Not that I am complaining, just going to be a little more hassle to move equipment around to do different jobs. I have really enjoyed looking at your shop. It is one to be proud of!
God Bless
tom

Dan, looks good. I like some of the things that you have done with the place. I will have to keep some of them in mind for when I am putting together my shop. I just poured the slab, and the roof is now sealed up. Cant finish soon enough.

Thank you for all the wonderful and inspiring comments about my workshop. I take alot of pride in my workshop. I have been asked by a few friends to help them get there shop/ garage organized and cleaned up. People ask me how can it be a workshop if it is so clean? I tell them because if it wasn’t clean then I wouldn’t beable to get around and that I feel that a clean shop/ tool is a happy, organized and working one! Thank you once again for the comments, advice and friendships.
