My shop is, after years of waiting, generously sized.
I have just slapped together a bench that is cheap and just a mini-me step up from a regular old shop table. That is, it has wood holding devices and a little bit of planning.
I liked both the English and French styles of benches, so, since I wasn’t dropping some serious coin on the bench, I decided to make a Franken-version of the the two styles in one. I’ll report later how it is working. Still missing a leg vise and sliding deadman. It’s likely I’ll be more British than French until I get the Oohlala into a more finished form.
Other items: Sawbench, Krenov-style shopbent (kudos to Tom Fidgen for the plans and my rolling clamps/lumber/saw cart.
