Hello Lumberjocks I'm a lifelong resident of Georgia and I've been married for nineteen years. We have two girls ages thirteen and fourteen.
I have always had an interest in woodworking and made smaller projects with limited and cheaper tools. After buying land to build a house, I decided to build a shop we could live in while we built our house. This helped us in two different ways. It saved us rent and gas money, and it was great being at the house everyday.
So after moving in I met a friend down the street who had a shop of his own. He had built all the cabinets in his house and offered to help me build mine. He has taught me a lot about building cabinets and I've also built some furniture. And now that our house is finished the shop is mine and I'm slowly but surely filling it with tools.
I would llike to thank all of you who take care of this site. I've been looking around on here for a while and really enjoy the information and pictures.
