I am currently in the US Navy and stationed at Port Hueneme, CA. Married to a wonderful woman who allows me to hibernate in the garage and I have two gorgeous (their horns hold up the halo on their heads!) little girls a three year old and a two year old. They are definitely my inspiration in life.
A quick little history of me I was born and raised in rural Nebraska. That is were I received my first introduction to wood working. My grandfather was always repairing something on the ranch so natural I wanted to help to. God bless him because I think all I ever did was make a mess. I have been in the navy now for just over 10 years and in the last couple years I have started getting back into woodworking.
I am sure you all know how it starts! You find yourself wandering around a store see something you like look at the price tag and say ^&*($%&!@#$@#!!!!! I could make that for half of what they want! Atleast thats how my hobbies began. So here I am now trying to perfect my woodworking skills and thankfuly I found this web site. You guys and gals have been a great help. I am still working on my router skills. Some how I never thought a router would be so tricky! So if any of you have some good router tips I would love to hear them.
That is a quick little info on me. Thanks for taking the time to look at my bio and keep up the superb projects guys!

Hello Cwestnoy,
Welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be an exciting and rewarding part of your woodworking experience.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Chad, thank you for the the nice comment on my stone cold table. I know you posted it a long time ago. My house was struck by lighting, and lost my computer, along with numerous other things. So thanks-
