I have been woodworking for about 20 years now. I started with a radial arm saw that I kept in a shed out back and had to drag up to the driveway when I wanted to use it. I built several projects including a large cherry armor with pocket doors and custom molding with that saw and didn't loose any body parts.
I am self taught, but these days I can't seem to get enough training classes. I can't wait to take the next one, when ever that is. I am mostly a power tool worker but my brother has introduced me to the world of hand tools and I love using them when ever I can. I think using both will make me a better woodworker and give me more options.
My dream, like many others, would be to build furniture full time and quit the corporate rat race that I don't fit in very well. Until then, I will keep adding to my completed projects list one at a time.
I also like to tinker with other things like electric motorcycles, airplanes, mechanics, and other inventive types of things.
