Just picked up my first Festool machine. A Domino with all the fixins. Via CL as usual. Priced at $500 I felt guilty, not guilty enough to pay more though.

I can’t wait to put it to use. Hopefully within the next week.

Pics to follow!

That’s about the only way I’ll ever get one. $500 is some solid robbery. Good looking out!

It’s gonna be hard not flipping it for a Quick $300+ profit ;)

I have to use it quick or Ill get greedy. I gotta guy who will sell me S2S SAB Ash & Maple for a buck a board foot that is gonna be tempting if I don’t fall in love with the Domino quickly!

CL=Craigslist.com=The frugal Woodworkers Shopping Mall! I was just telling the wife how much I “Saved” buying a used tool for $500. Her response was that she was going to have to go “save” money on a $500 purchase at Nordstroms this weekend. All I could say was “Sounds Great Honey!”

Yeah with my setup the only tool that isn’t up to par is ME ;)

I have a shop most folks would drool over, except for the size. I am still trying to figure out the organization so I can actually get a project complete.

I really messed things up by installing a sliding table onto my Grizzly Cabinet saw. Now I am tripping over it every time I turn around.

I wouldn’t mind having one of those and I’ve got enough tool money saved up to get one and it’s about to burn a hole in my overall pocket. However, I believe I’m going to get me some more carving tools and maybe some chisels instead – I’m sort of just dragging my feet right now on spending it. Those are really nice though.
