I live on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. I have been a printer for many years and have been working as a parole officer for the last 10 years.

I have enjoyed doing small renovations and projects over the years and have inherited some of my fathers tools. I've had a desire to do some cabinet making and need to learn the basics like the various joints and types of timbers to use etc. I will be retiring in about 5 years and hope to be able to be productive by then.

I enjoy talking to other people about their experiences and ideas. It seems that there are often 10 different ways to achieve the same result. I am looking forward to reading about other people's experience's and sharing some of mine.
