no previous part Part 1 of My Workshop series no next part

This is my first ever Blog post. I am just starting into woodworking and wanted a place to chronicle my journey.

The first things I have been doing was watching countless YouTube videos and reading as much as I can to get a feel of the terminology and where I might want to begin.

I decided the first thing i should do is plan out my work space. For this I have decided to set up shop in my Garage. We have a three car garage and I’m taking the back half and converting it. This space will be around 20’x20’x8’.

For this space i will put in a wall so I can keep my shop locked and also keep it cooled and heated. I decided to start with putting up the wall first then I will research and add heating and cooling. My next step will be adding air filtration and dust collection. I really do not want to start any projects until i feel i’m in a safe and comfortable environment. It might take me longer to get started but for myself this is the best option.

Will edit this with pictures later.
