This weekend got a bit ruined with the termite inspector coming in and confirming that, yes, we have termites. That event along with high temps and humidity kept me out of the shop for any woodworking.

I was able to take some time in the late evening, and try my hand at making a video shop tour

My shop is small, and so it didn’t take long. But pop on over to my blog and check it out!

Learning new software with a specific project in hand seems to go better. The background noise was almost as loud as your voice, was that a fan or something that could have been turned off?

Yeah, that was a fan I had going so I wouldn’t stifle. Even though the temperature had dropped a bit, it was still very hot and humid, and the shop had been closed up in that all day. I will hopefully have quieter background noise in the future!

Thanks for the feedback, as this whole thing is brand new to me, and I don’t really know what pitfalls to avoid until I have stepped into them!
