If you want to spray, but the cost is too high on those fancy/expensive systems, buy it. If every project needs to have a perfect, auto paint gloss finish, no matter how long it takes, then this is not the product for you. I went ahead and tested all of my squares for square (I lined them up against a very flat surface, drew a line , flipped them and drew another line; I measured for any difference between the distance between the lines over their length). The results: surprise, this one actually was square. Over the 7 inches I could not detect any variance. Other squares were longer, other squares were metal, and all but one (which I tossed) was close enough, but only one was actually square. There are ...

I think cheap tools have a place. I have 2 very nice kitchen knives and a few crap knives; i use them for different things. So i needed a bit to rough out a curve and using a router on a swing arm seemed to make sense, so I picked up these bits. I expected them to leave a rough edge, I expected them to be less than scary sharp, I expected them to do their job just not to be great about it. I was wrong, turns out red oak beat that bit silly. By my math, this bit made 4 36” passes ...

Edit: I am leaving the original post below, and I will repeat this portion of the post below, where it makes sense with the rest of the comments; but, these “stones” are actually pretty good, but the Grit they give you is a lie. I am sticking with the two stars because I wanted a 600 grit stone, not a 6000 grit stone. Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but after all the posts and differing opinions I decide to do some tests. The test parameters were basically to flatte...
