From a magazine plan. The night stands are taken from an old arts and crafts catalog, I drew up the plans myself and went from the dimensions in the catalog as far as height and overall dimensions.
Also, the lamps are a collaboration of efforts between myself and my brother-in-law, a crystal cutter. I turned the bases from black walnut, he suppled the crystal and assembled them.

They are red oak and stained a dark brown. There are 22 mortise and tenons in each chair. It was a lot of work, but i like the results.

I built this a few years ago from a plan in Wood Magazine (I believe). Fun project, I do think I will be building a couple more in 2009. I had the Upholstery done professionally, very nice cushions that have held up well, but it was the most expensive part of the process.

A desk I made for my wife. Maple and Black walnut.

This project began in Canada at Rosewood studio in the spring of 2007. I attended a class taught by Garrett Hack with my oldest brother. We brought the table home in parts. I did all of the inlay, cockbeading, final assembly and finish in my shop.

I built this bench form Hard Maple in the spring of 2008.
