This is my workshop at my last house not to mention my first workshop. I just started woodworking when I built it as you can see by the burn marks on some of the cuts. Anyway, I figured someone might find it interesting.

Id say you are off to a great start! You obviuosly put a lot of thought into your layout. I especially like your saw blade storage. Very clever

Thanks a lot. I had to let the miter saw bench go when I sold the house. Last I herd they used it as a toy box for their kid then discarded it later. Yea, that one stung a bit. Six Months later my router table along with most my tools and 12 sets of plantation shutters for my new house that were 90 percent complete were lost in a garage fire while they were being stored at my dads place. I might have cried a little on that one. The good news is I now have a four car garage and after two Years i’m starting to get the bug again. I’m currently designing my new miter bench. I’m considering making this one in sections so it can be broken down and moved if needed. I’m always open to suggestions.

Beautiful workshop. That is the cleanest looking shop I’ve ever seen. That’s what my wife wants MY shop to look like but I keep telling her it’s impossible to keep a shop that clean…... I better not let her see these pictures!

Whats the attachment on the side of your sawstop? Looks like some kind of sliding sled for crosscutting.

Very awesome and definitely an inspiration for my new shop (planning on moving to a new place soon). Great job and would love to see your new miter station.

Have your say...
