These are all my work’s in progress: The sailboat, with another in the background is about 1/4 of the way done. I want to spend a lot of time on the clouds on this piece. I love doing shells, so I try to add shells on most of my pieces. This is another Poplar piece, I ususlly start them with hand tools, and progress to Dremel. The face piece will actually be finished surrounded by carved tree bark to look as if it were carved out of bark. Its still in the beginning stages. Also a Poplar piece. The inspiration comes from a piece displayed in Thor’s Studio, done by a local wood carver. The barely started turtle piece, is depicting a turtle nest emergence, as they race to the sea (Of course there will be shells in this one too) The next one is a Ghost crab piece, with a footprint and a sand castle, and shells. The last one is a Carousel piece, I love Carousel Horses, and cant wait to finish this one. I have a couple more pieces in progress too. One that is in the very beginning stages is a Manatee. I work on that one at lunchtime at a park near where I work.

That doesn’t look like a shop though.

There’s a shop under there. Actually we just bought a house with a room in the basement already finished with cabinets and work area. Now I just need more time.
