This is just a small box that I finished a couple of months ago. I just wanted to try my hand at something new and it was fun to knock out a project in a short period of time. It is Cherry and Walnut with a couple of coats of danish oil and self-adhesive felt lining the inside. I have a couple of other small projects that I’ll post when I get the chance. I saw this pattern when a few people started posting their versions of this cutting board on this site. To the original designer…thank very much for the inspiration and it was a hit as a Christmas present for the family.

Here is a chest that I completed recently made of walnut and cherry. The finish is danish oil with a few coats of polyurethane and wax on the top. It also has an adjustable tension flap stay to keep fingers from being crushed. Constructive criticism is welcome…
