mid-career IT Professional who always wanted to get into woodworking. Got my first table saw, bandsaw, miter saw, etc spring-fall 2016, and get tons of free oak from work to work with. Love wood working so far, and have used this site a ton to get valuable information.

My workshop is pretty limited in space and income right now. In my workshop you can see all my tools and prices to see how I have built a pretty decent workshop on a budget.

hey just remember the best tools dont make the best quality furniture the best wood workers do,but good quality tools sure help.just build your tool inventory piece by piece as you can afford it,ive been growing mine slowly over the last 30 years or so.just want to say welcome and hope you enjoy it here.
