My Father was a former/inactive/out-of-shape Hollywood Marine before his passing almost three years ago…The Marines even came and watched over him during his funeral …He was also a Carpenter…Although the Corps didn’t want me I followed in his footsteps as a Carpenter…..I thought it would be a good way to honor him and the Bad Ass uniform that he wore for quite a spell by building a display case to house that Uniform, his Medals, the Sword the NCO’s carried (forgive me I don’t recall the name) a folded American Flag and a photo of his graduating class. The only things I know for sure as to how I will do this is that I will use a French Cleat system to hang it and that its going to be huge with crown molding at the top …...Anyone give me any Ideas on hardware and/or anything I need to look out for? helpful links and so on? Thank you and happy New Year.

A Special note to all the and inactive thank you for all your sacrifices and putting your lives on the line…and to my old man…..Semper Fidelis we miss you old timer!

Sounds like it will be a great display case

What a great way to honor your Father. He would be very proud.
